Hamburg Plaque on Wooden Shield

wooden shield approx 7.45" by 5.35". made by famous German maker Blohm & Voss with the Coat of Arms of their home City. not sure what the emblem is made of. appears metallic but could be a tough ceramic or similar. good overall condition. some age to this one. 1980s for a guess.
