a couple of items saved from the melt by a jeweller. sadly whatever the came off had already been disposed of. hm silver plate most likely off a shield with ' Presented by the Officers 6th Bn the Sherwood Foresters' . London mark for 1933 - 34. approx 5" by 2" plus a crossed rifles badge with small hallmark same date, missing one stud on reverse.
