German Bruna Badge - Brno Commemorative

an interesting item. enamelled white metal badge made by W. Volk of Stuttgart bearing the old name for Brno in former Czechoslovakia . possibly for Die Bruna organisation for ethnic Germans expelled from the country. not sure about the 1944 date and the 25. missing the retention loop on the brooch pin fitting. approx 2.5" by 1.75".
