German Eismeer Front WW2 Commemorative Medal Believed Old Reproduction

an old zinc based medallion approx 1.6" by 1.25" with leather loop. remains of a silver toned wash. not convinced its genuine. although this was a semi official rather than an issue award this one has been made in two halves and then put together and hand finished. Mountain Troops emblem with dates 1942 and 1943.
