Heraldic Brooch Pin Believed Trotter Family

an old but unidentified heraldic brooch. possibly a pin for the English based side of the Trotter family with Scottish lion above motto. white metal possibly unmarked silver approx 2" by 1.4". Similar style to some early militia badges but probably a livery item or just a family brooch.
