British Army London Irish Rifles (LIR) Cap Badge

a well used and worn but original cap badge of this famous regiment. approx 2" by 1" with plain brass slider fitting on reverse. may have had a braising repair at some time. Pre 1952 pattern Kings crown at top.believed removed from a display board.
