British Army Highland Light Infantry HLI Pipers Plaid Brooch KC

a rather nice bimetallic pipers brooch of this former Scottish Regiment. approx 3.45" diameter with robust pin fitting on the reverse. the brass wreath has lost its gilt finish on the front but otherwise in good overall condition. some wear to highlights. pre 1952 pattern Kings Crown cap badge or glengarry sized emblem at centre.
