France Bard de Clichy French Third Republic Brass Medal 1897

not entirely sure what this one was for . looks like a hunting medal but no depiction of any weapons and I assume its for or after a Bard called Black. no idea so sold as is. still an interesting piece and worth some research. approx 1.4" diameter plus top loop. somewhat worn. maker marked but not easy to read.
