a great item. small hand painted image of the SV Patrica. not been able to trace the ship. I imagine the vessel was of Italian origin. would rate lower than a six in navy standard. could have been a small armed merchantman. appears to be flying a Union or Commonwealth ensign in the picture. bone based set loosely in a glazed oval frame.
