Australian Army 40th Infantry Battalion Derwent Regiment WW2 Large Cap Badge

a well used example hard brass metal large sized early WW2 cap badge.approx 2.35" by 2.3". two lug type fittings on the reverse. Crown of King George VI at top. Looks like the lugs have been repaired at sme time. remains of a yellowy gilt wash, not really visible on the pictures.
