British and Commonwealth Police Superintendents Shirt Rank Epaulettes Kings Crown

a vintage pair of obsolete senior police officers epaulettes. these have unusual sew on type pre 1953 Kings Crowns. I would assume they are for a shirt or light mack. not seen this particular type insignia before. each approx 5.25" by 32.35" at widest points when flat. good condition.
