British GPO Regional Badge Circa WW2 General Post Office

a pre 1953 believed WW2 era numbered GPO strap badge. i believe the region is East Central on this one. approx 2.5" by 2.65" with two fold over prong type fittings on the reverse.Kings crown at top.
