i assume for one of the jubilees. an unusual button or stud with a coinlike emblem surrounded by cut felt patches. very much like a poppy so possibly the cloth bits were added to an older item. either way an interesting find. Could be a Commonwealth item of course. signs of age wear and stains to material etc.
