British Army WW1 RFC Royal Flying Corps Cap Badge

a reasonable example looks almost bronzed pre 1918 RFC cap badge. some wear or corrosion to the finish. approx 1.5" by 1.75". the cotter pin probably doesn't belong to this item but I have left it on.
