British Army Royal Engineers Bazaar Cap Badge King George Damaged

a well made Kings Crown cap badge possibly made in India but not sure. sadly the number has been removed from the centre or badly made. It may be only a guess it was GVR and someone removed it for being out of date on the middle bit. approx 1.8" by 1.55" with pin back type fitting.
