British Army 1st Volunteer Battalion The Welsh Regiment Cap Badge

a very old hard metal pre WW1 cap badge of this pre Territorial Army type unit. approx 1.6" by 1.5" with two lug type fittings on the reverse. starting in late Victorian era i am not quite sure when these were no longer used. a scarce badge either way.
