British Army AEC Officer Cap Badge ( Royal ) Army Educational Corps

an interesting badge. a scarce first pattern officer or senior NCO gilt cap badge of this former Corps which became the RAEC after WW2. This one is oddly made in what appears to be rough edged cast brass but with something like a fire gilt finish. The lugs appear to have been squashed to fit on a cap. i would guess it was made overseas. fair bit of wear to the front finish.  read more
