a very old well used cast brass emblem of the City of Birmingham . Pre 1936 pattern coat of arms . Civic use mostly for a horse drawn tram. Approx 1.75" by 1.6"..copper wire prong fittings on the reverse. one of these has come loose on one side. the badge is more of a yellowy tone on the front than the pictures suggest.  read more

not quite sure what to make of this one. appears to be a correctly constructed albeit post war made 1902 to 1952 pattern badge of this famous former regiment ; the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) . approx 2.9" by 2.3". best guess this was done out of period, probably for a cadet band or similar. sold as seen.  read more
