a good example maker marked bronzed metal Australian cap badge. approx 2.3" by 1.7" with maker marks for Stokes Melbourne. two lug type fittings on the reverse. the front face has had a darker tone finish applied similar to those used in Burma. might also have had a lug repair at some time.  read more
