Unusual London Airport French Air Force Badge

no idea what to make of this one. a WW2 style fighter plane badge with french pattern roundels on the wings. post May 1946 designation title on shield for London Airport at centre with a similar looking plane in the sky. Fairly good overall condition. no maker marks.some crazing and nips etc to the enamel. Well made. The shield has been braised to the plane. approx 1.65" by 1.2".  read more
