a well made brass cap badge with a worn light bronze finish. approx 1.7" by 1.65" with pre 1952 kings crown at top. a very good quality bazaar badge rather than the scarce all brass issue badge. most likely Indian made and worn in India and Burma.  read more

Volk of Stuttgart bearing the old name for Brno in former Czechoslovakia . possibly for Die Bruna organisation for ethnic Germans expelled from the country. not sure about the 1944 date and the 25. missing the retention loop on the brooch pin fitting. approx 2.5" by 1.75".  read more

Notts and Derby Regiment HM Silver Plaque Bits

a couple of items saved from the melt by a jeweller. sadly whatever the came off had already been disposed of. hm silver plate most likely off a shield with ' Presented by the Officers 6th Bn the Sherwood Foresters' . London mark for 1933 - 34. approx 5" by 2" plus a crossed rifles badge with small hallmark same date, missing one stud on reverse.  read more
