Victorian Belt Buckle similar to Canadian Militia

an unusual Royal Cypher pattern belt buckle. well made approx 2.9" by 2.5". seperately attached VR cypher with pre 1902 crown of Queen Victoria at centre. A similar design to the Canada Militia but I suspect probably not military and likely made in India. Could be diplomatic or something like Colonial Police or Prison Service.  read more

British Army East Lancashire Regiment Victorian Cap Badge - Repaired

an interesting badge. an original pre 1902 pattern bimetallic British Army cap badge that has had its lug fittings removed and replaced with a slider fitting. Its been done a long time. possibly WW1 as soldiers very often utilised archaic badges unofficially for sentimental reasons.the white metal i think has been subdued with a dark coating.  read more
