Irish Blackrock College Silver Award Fobs - Named

a great lot of memorabilia of this famous college. . four silver fobs from between approx 1945 to 1948 in Dublin jeweller cases. Irish hallmarks , Named to Ronald Madigan. 2 x silver, one has what appears to be a gold front plate. 2 x silver gilt with wear. all very approximately 1.2" by 1.45". Junior Irish Debate, Honours List, Senior Irish Debate and General Excellence . circa 1945 to 1946.  read more

a pressed metal two part copy war badge. approx 2" by 1.9". . this type were often sold in bike magazines in the 1970s. The only problem being that the centre emblem is only pressed in and liable to keep popping out.  read more

a very scarce early transitional pattern staybrite aluminium based badge with crown of King George VI at top. I believe intended as a cap badge but may have been used as an arm badge worn post independence when the regiment was amalgamated by former members. flat lug type fittings on reverse.  read more
