issued a few months before WW1 but an interesting artefact from that year. Framed German Confirmation certificate from a church in Raumland which I assume is the sub district of Bad Berleburg. approx 14.6" by 11.5". signs of age. a few knocks to frame etc. nb there may need to be a surcharge for overseas post due to extra packing . please check first.  read more

an old brass USC cap badge approx 1.8" by 1.7" with two lug type fittings on the reverse. well used with remains of gilt finish mainly on the reverse. A sort of forerunner of the NAAFI crossed with something like the Corps of Commissionaires. , Made up of veterans it retained the Crown of Queen Victoria but was used post period.  read more
