an interesting early post war occupation forces sports medal for long jump. plated brass metal approx 1.3" diameter plus suspension ring. named on reverse to a Corporal Naylor. German spelling of Hameln for the Garrison. medallion by Pinches London.I assume he was in the Royal Engineers or an attached unit. worth some research.  read more

a rather nice bimetallic pipers brooch of this former Scottish Regiment. approx 3.45" diameter with robust pin fitting on the reverse. the brass wreath has lost its gilt finish on the front but otherwise in good overall condition. some wear to highlights. pre 1952 pattern Kings Crown cap badge or glengarry sized emblem at centre.  read more

a scarce EVIIIR pattern large size button for usually major or colonel ranking officers. approx 7/8" diameter. made by Buttons of Birmingham. fixed loop fitting on the reverse. one of the relatively few that escaped bearing the cypher and crown of the King who abdicated.  read more

a pair of well made Southern Germany shooting award pins from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area.. each approx 1.25" by 1" with brooch pin type fittings. Different makers and grades and a couple of years apart. appears to have inverted colours on the district shield emblems.  read more

German Diplomatic Visor Cap Eagle and Cockade Reproduction

an interesting lot. I would guess of eastern European origin with some age to it. possibly an old film prop. struck aluminium eagle approx 4.1" by 2.25" with prong type fittings on the reverse. there is also a cast impression of an Assmann logo. Wreath approx 5.25" by 1.75" also with prong fittings and a central national colour cockade.  read more
