Vintage British Maritime Merchant Navy Ladies Dress Style Belt

a well used circa 1930s ladies style dress belt with a brass ship pattern buckle by Martin and made in England. approx 32" total length set for about 30 to 31". an ingenious stretch almost chain mail type construction. repaired in a few places with general signs of wear and tear. still an attractive and unusual item. Maritime theme but maybe just a fashion item of the period.  read more

an interesting named RN boxing medallion approx 1.6" diameter. white metal, possibly unmarked silver but not tested. a few edge knocks etc and signs of wear. The former Shore Base had two locations, originally at Butlins Ingoldmells in WW2 and later at Corsham. Worth some research.  read more

British Army Royal Regiment of Artillery Gilt Cap Badge EIIR

no idea what to make of this one. an officer or senior nco quality RA cap badge. approx 2.6" by 1.75" with unmarked slider fitting on the reverse. Crown of Queen Elizabeth II at top. Pattern also used by some Commonwealth forces. some wear and genuine age to this one. Probably a private purchase item hence in the repro section, although I have seen similar badges on peaked caps.
